JAMMU, Nov 3: Surya Bhanu Partap Singh has recently been selected for the TOPS Scheme of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for the forthcoming 18th Asian Games.
The Government of India has spotted 151 players in almost 14 sports disciplines wherein 9 athletes have been selected from Wushu. Surya Bhanu Partap is the first player of the State who has been included in the TOPS Scheme of the MYAS.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has also considered Kuldeep Handoo (National Chief Coach) for the TOPS Scheme, the meeting in this regard will take place on November 8, 2017 at New Delhi in which chief coaches will be benefitted from this scheme for the better results in the forthcoming Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and Olympics 2020.
