Indian Army flags off Cycle Rally

JAMMU, Sept 19: Army today flagged off 540 kms Cycle Expedition to Padari Gali.
10 days long cycling expedition was flagged off by GOC Indian Army in presence of Commander and Commanding Officer Doda. Cycling team will tour across Chenab Valley covering around 60 km per day.
Event as part of adventure activity is aimed at fostering spirit of physical endurance, mental robustness and commaraderie.
Cycling expedition will also promote cycling as adventure sports. It will also promote tourism in the Chenab Valley.
Cyclists will get opportunities to interact with locals having various folk cultures and ways of life en-route.
