IGP provides racing bicycle to boy

Srinagar, May 23: In an endeavor to enhance the sports talent of the youth, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone Munir Ahmad Khan has provided a racing bicycle to a boy hailing from Budgam in Central Kashmir.
A police spokesman said, “IGP Kashmir was informed that a boy identified as Mohmiss Ismail Wani, resident of Cheki Kawoosa in Magam area of Budgam had participated in cycle races on national level, but due to lack of proper facilities was not able to pursue his cycling career.”
“After receiving this information, the IGP ordered a bicycle, Merida Reacto-5000 bicycle which has 8.48 kilogram weight, 52cm Frame size, FSA Gossamer, Pro 52-36 (386) Chain wheel and 2 x 11 gears and gifted it to the boy. The boy was very enthusiastic and happy after receiving the bicycle and promised that he will bring laurels for the State”, he added.
