Heena helps Jammu-B to register emphatic 9 wkts win over Jammu-A

JAMMU, June 18: Magnificent batting performance by Heena Bhat of 55 runs in 44 balls helped Jammu-B to register emphatic 9 wickets win over Jammu-A in three cricket match series, being played at JKCA ground, here today.
Batting first, Jammu-A made 96 runs by losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Tanisha made 31 runs, while Soniya and Shallu scored 14 and 11 runs respectively.
From Jammu-B side, Sandhya scalped 2 wickets, while Rishu, Kajal and Sanjana took one wicket each.
In the second inning, Jammu-B chased the target by losing only one wicket. Heena Bhat played a splendid inning of 55 runs off 44 balls, while Rudrakshi made 16 runs.
From Jammu-A side, Ananya was the lone wicket taker.
Heena was adjudged as woman of the match for her brilliant batting performance.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Neeru Manhas as umpires, while Sunita acted as scorer.
During the match, Desh Rattan Dubey, Joint Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) was the chief guest, who while interacting with the players impressed upon them to play the game with true sportsmanship.
The three match series has been organized by Anju Gupta, Veena Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Sadiq Hussain Malik, Sanjay Pardhan and Mukesh Sharma.
