Udhampur, Jan 27: Air Force Station, Udhampur organised cycling expedition for air warriors from Jan 23 to 27. A total of 15 air warriors participated in the expedition with great zeal and enthusiasm. Station Commander, 39 Wg Air Force, flagged off the expedition.
It was for the first time that this expedition was organized by Air Force Station Udhampur, with the purpose to boost up the morale of air warriors for adventure activity.
300 km route was covered with intermediate halts planned at Jammu, Pathankot and Amritsar. The expedition was flagged in today at Air Force Station, Udhampur.
In the recent past also Air Force Station, Udhampur has organised Summer Adventure Camp for boys and girls in May 2017. Owing to the success of this expedition Air Force Station, Udhampur is also planning other adventure activities in future to uplift the team spirit and motivate the fitness regime in air warriors.
