JAMMU, Dec 8: Jammu and Kashmir BJP spokesperson Zorawar Singh Jamwal today met the Party’s National general secretary and In-charge J&K, Tarun Chugh, in New Delhi and discussed various measures for strengthening the organization in J&K.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal briefed Tarun Chugh on the ongoing political activities, public outreach programmes and the response of people across districts to different organizational initiatives.
He stressed the need to further energize booth-level teams, streamline coordination among district and mandal units and ensure that local issues are addressed promptly through proper communication channels.
A major part of the meeting focused on the effective implementation of Government welfare schemes in J&K and ensuring that their benefits reach all eligible sections.
Jamwal also discussed that wider awareness about these schemes would help strengthen public trust and deepen the party’s connect with youth, women, farmers and economically weaker families.
The discussion also covered the need for more structured information campaigns to explain the benefits of these programmes at the grassroots level.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal also highlighted the importance of increasing engagement with rural communities, especially in far-flung areas where people often need more support in accessing Government benefits.
He said that special outreach programmes should be planned to connect with first-time voters, students, and self-help groups so that they can better understand the opportunities available to them under different Central schemes.
Tarun Chugh advised Jamwal to continue to do efforts to expand the organization’s work at the ground level. He stressed the importance of strengthening field-level presence and ensuring that the party remains connected with the people throughout the year.
