NEW DELHI, Jan 17: Zinc futures prices today fell 0.43 per cent to Rs 127.50 per kg as participants reduced their positions largely in line with a weakening trend overseas and subdued domestic spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in February traded lower by 55 paise, or 0.43 per cent, to Rs 127.50 per kg, with a business turnover of four lots.
The metal for delivery in January shed 55 paise, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 127.05 per kg in a turnover of 116 lots.
Marketmen said the fall in zinc prices at futures trade was mostly in line with a weak overseas and subdued demand at the spot markets. (AGENCIES)
