JAMMU, Nov 24: On the sixth day of Yuvtarang 2025–26, students showcased their extraordinary talent across five major events, collage making, installation, rangoli, folk dance and classical dance at Cluster University of Jammu.
The day served as a celebration of creativity, innovation and India’s rich cultural heritage, adding renewed enthusiasm to the ongoing week-long festival.
In the collage making competition, Mohd Zaighan Salaria of GGM Science College secured the top slot, while Bhanu Verma and Snakhi Sharma from SPMR College claimed the second and third positions respectively.
The installation competition highlighted teamwork and imaginative expression. The first prize was bagged by Parul Pawar and Peehu Sharma from the Government College of Education.
The duo of Mohd Zaigam and Antrish Sharma from GGM Science College earned the second position, followed by Prasey Sharma and Riya Chib of GCW Gandhi Nagar, who secured third place.
In Rangoli, the arena blossomed with intricate designs and vibrant hues.
Ridima Sharma from the School of Engineering took the first position, while Mohd Zaigam Salaria of GGM Science College and Ansh Dev Singh from the School of Sciences secured second and third positions respectively.
The stage came alive during the classical dance (Solo) event, where Saika Choudhary of GCW Gandhi Nagar emerged first.
Medhavani Raina secured second place, while Ashita Majotra of MAM College finished third.
In the spirited folk dance category, GCW Gandhi Nagar stood first, followed by MAM College and GGM Science College in second and third positions.
All events were held under the overall guidance of Prof K S Chandrasekar, Vice Chancellor, ClUJ and supervised by Prof D S Manhas along with the dedicated team from the Department of Students Welfare.
