Yuva Rajput Sabha committees dissolved

JAMMU, Aug 19: The Dispute Resolution Committee of Yuva Rajput Sabha – J&K (YRS), constituted by the Trustees on the recommendation of the Core Committee members, today announced to dissolve both the committees of the two factions and hold fresh elections in the near future in the broader interests of the community in the region.
Talking to the media-persons here today Member Trustees explained that the dispute arose when Chairman Raghubir Singh nominated Sanjeev Singh Rinku as president, while Chief Patron Rajinder Singh nominated Mandeep Singh Rimpy as president, both claiming majority support of the Core Committee of 25 members. This resulted in a deadlock which seriously harmed the dignity and functioning of the organisation. Several meetings of the Core Committee and founder members were held to resolve the matter, but no consensus was reached.
On the advice of various Rajput Biradari heads, a Core Committee was framed to resolve the dispute. A Dispute Resolution Committee was constituted with full support of the Core Committee.
The Committee, after thorough deliberations, came to a conclusion that strict decisions are now necessary in the larger interest of the Sabha and Biradari. It announced that with immediate effect, all existing bodies of Yuva Rajput Sabha, including the Chairman, both so-called presidents, and all other office bearers, stand dissolved.
It was decided that for the time being, only the Core Committee of 25 members shall exist and function as the sole authority of YRS. It was also resolved that Vikram Singh Vicky, Ex-president of YRS, shall also be included as a member of the Core Committee and act as the Election Commissioner for conducting fresh elections in a transparent and democratic manner.
