JAMMU, Feb 27: The vice president of J&K BJP, Yudhvir Sethi, paid glowing tribute to the legendary Sher-e-Duggar Lala Hans Raj Mahajan at an event organized by president Chanden Mahajan Moti Bazaar Traders Association Jammu in collaboration with ABMBS, and Mashara Jammu.
Parveen Kerni, president East Mandal and Arun Sethi general secretary of East Mandal accompanied the senior BJP leader.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi threw light on the life and works of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, highlighting his contributions to the economically weaker sections of the society. He urged people to take inspiration from the life of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan and contribute more towards the betterment of the community.
“Today, we are here to pay our respects to Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, a legendary figure in the history of our society. He has set an example of how one’s life can be used to serve others and contribute to the development of our community. We must all follow his footprints and strive to do our best for the welfare of the people,” Sethi added.
The event was attended by a large number of people who expressed their gratitude to Chandan Mahajan, president of Moti Bazaar Traders Association for organizing such a programme, which aimed to keep the memory of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan alive and inspire future generations to work towards the progress of the community.
