JAMMU, Oct 4: MLA Jammu East constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, today inaugurated the upgradation works of a lane and drain in Ward No. 10, with an estimated cost of approximately Rs. 12 lakh.
The MLA was accompanied by former corporator and BJP vice president, Anil Masoom and other community leaders. The MLA expressed his gratitude towards the dedicated officials of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) for their cooperation in planning and executing the project.
The project aims to enhance sanitation, improve drainage facilities, and provide much-needed relief to residents of the area.
Addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi said, “This initiative is part of our continued commitment to improving civic infrastructure and ensuring that residents have access to basic amenities. Proper sanitation and efficient drainage are essential for a healthy and hygienic environment, and this development will significantly benefit the local community.”
“The success of such initiatives depends on coordination between elected representatives and administration. I am thankful to the JMC officials for their tireless efforts in making this project a reality,” Sethi added.
The MLA also highlighted the importance of community involvement in maintaining infrastructure and urged residents to support ongoing civic improvement projects.
