JAMMU, Mar 28: Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East, held a series of extensive meetings at Amphalla, Bajalta, and Jammu East, Mandals with the aim of strengthening the booth-level organizational structure and accelerating developmental initiatives in the constituency.
Vice president district Jammu, Anil Masoom, vice president, Ramesh Gupta, spokesperson, Raman Sharma, Mandal presidents, Swati Sharma, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Adarsh Jathiar accompanied the MLA.
The meetings were attended by booth presidents, Shakti Kendra members, and other party workers, who actively participated in discussions focused on grassroots mobilization and improving coordination among local units. The gatherings served as a platform to review organizational preparedness and assess the progress of ongoing development works in different areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi highlighted the importance of a strong booth structure in ensuring effective governance and public outreach.
He said, “A strong booth network is the foundation of any successful democratic system. When our booth-level workers are empowered and active, we can ensure that every Government scheme reaches the intended beneficiaries without delay.”
He further emphasized that booth presidents and Shakti Kendra members play a vital role as the first point of contact between the public and the administration. “You are the bridge between the Government and the people. Your dedication ensures transparency, accountability, and timely redressal of public issues,” Sethi added.
During the meetings, detailed discussions were held on key developmental issues such as road connectivity, sanitation, water supply, and other civic amenities. Sethi reviewed the status of ongoing projects and urged workers to closely monitor development works and report any gaps or delays.
Participants also shared feedback from their respective areas, highlighting local concerns and suggesting practical solutions. Sethi assured them that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments on priority to ensure timely resolution.
