Youth succumbs to injuries, three injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Oct 25: A youth succumbed to his injuries at DMC Ludhiana, while, three others were injured in road accidents.
As per reports, 18 year old youth namely Ankush Seth, son of Jagdish Raj Seth of Domana, was seriously injured, when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a mini-bus at Domana area of the city outskirts on August 8.
He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in serious conditions, from where he was later shifted to DMC Ludhiana for specialized treatment.
At DMC Ludhiana, he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries today.
The body has been handed over to legal heirs after completion of legal formalities, while, a case under relevant Sections stands registered at Domana Police Station.
In another incident, a couple was injured when the car they were traveling in rolled down in Nagrota.
Identified as Bishan Dass and his wife Sudesh Kumari, both were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where their condition was stated to be stable, when the last reports poured in.
Meanwhile, a nine year old girl namely Jhalak, daughter of Suresh Kumar of Kachi Chawni, was injured, when a motorcycle hit her at Exchange Road.
She was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she was responding to the treatment, when last reports poured in.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at concerned Police Stations and investigation started.
