REASI, Oct 12: A youth was stabbed by some assailants at Chamba village near Katra in district Reasi last night.
A police spokesman said that 25-year-old Salman Khan, son of Babu Khan, resident of Chamba village was allegedly attacked with sharp edged weapons by three youth of the same area last night when he was returning home. With serious stab wounds, the victim was rushed to CHC Katra, where doctors referred him to GMC & Hospital, Jammu.
The police has registered attempt to murder case against the accused persons and started manhunt for them. They were identified as Karamat Ali, son of Sakhiya, resident of Bhagta (Katra); Shangu, son of Babu and Fikku, son of Shoki, both residents of Chamba village on Katra-Penthal Road.
