RAJOURI, June 27: In a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation under FIR No. 33/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act, Darhal police has arrested one more accused linked to narcotic activities.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohd Shehzad, son of Mohd Amin, a resident of Rakiban, Tehsil Darhal, in Rajouri district.
During questioning, the accused confessed his involvement in the said case. Acting on his disclosure, a recovery of contraband was made by the police team. The operation was carried out in the presence of Executive Magistrate Ist Class as per legal procedure.
The arrest was made by a police team led by SHO Darhal, Insp. Manpreet Singh, under the close supervision of SDPO Parupkar Singh as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle drug network in the area.
