JAMMU, May 9: A youth was stabbed to death by some unknown persons in Gorkha Nagar, falling under the jurisdiction of Bagh-e-Bahu police station last night.
Police spokesman said that the victim identified as 25-year-old Rohan Thappa alias Kallu, son of Vishal Thappa of Gorkha Nagar was sleeping at his residence last night, when some unknown persons called him out of his home and stabbed him.
After listening hue and cry, the family members came out and found the victim in pool of blood and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead, he added.
A murder case has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu police station and four to five suspects have been rounded up, he said.
