KATHUA, Mar 1: A youth died in a road accident at Chainpura area here today.
The deceased has been identified as Pardeep Singh, a resident of Gura Pandita, Kathua.
According to police, his motorcycle (JK08Q 3003) collided head-on with a car near Chainpura on Jasrota Road, resulting in severe injuries to the youth.
He was first shifted to GMC Kathua and later referred to a hospital in Punjab for advanced treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
Meanwhile, a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at the concern police station and further investigation set into the motion.
