JAMMU, July 17: A youth was arrested with approximately 20 grams of heroin-like-substance from Phallain Mandal area here today.
Farooq Ahmad (21) of Ramban at present Ganeshu Chak, was arrested with the consignment from Duana Morh, Phallain Mandal with the consignment by a team of District Special Branch and Jammu and Kashmir Police, a police official said.
He was accordingly booked under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Satwari and further investigation taken up, the police official said.
