UDHAMPUR, Apr 20: Under mysterious circumstances, a youth was found dead in a hotel room at bus stand in Udhampur, here today.
Reports said that the dead body of Kewal Kumar (21), son of Parkash Chand, resident of Nalla Ghorian, Ghordi, Tehsil Ramnagar, was found in a room of Shiv Hotel, Bus Stand Udhampur.
On being informed by the hotel management, SHO Udhampur Raghuvir Singh reached the spot with a police team and shifted the body to the mortuary room of Udhampur District Hospital. Click here to watch video
Foaming at mouth of the deceased hint that consumption of poison was apparent cause of death and Police have not ruled out it as a case of suicide.
According to Police, the deceased had hired the hotel room last evening.
As death of the deceased has occurred under suspicious circumstances, an inquest proceeding under Section 194 BNSS has been initiated and further investigation goes on.
