JAMMU, Aug 10: A 24-year-old youth was found dead atop a ditch in border Allah village under the jurisdiction of Police Station Arnia today.
Sanjay Choudhary son of Karam Chand of Allah was found in an unconscious state atop a ditch between Kathar and Joian villages in Arnia tehsil, a police official said.
He was taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, he said.
While the body of the deceased youth has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination, police have initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the exact cause of his death.
