UDHAMPUR, Sept 25: A youth ended his life by hanging himself from ceiling fan hook at his house in village Basan, here today.
According to the police report, Rahul Kumar (27), son of Subhash Chander of Basan, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family members who saw him hanging, immediately called the Police Post Roun Domail following which a police team reached the spot and shifted the body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection at Police Station Udhampur and started further investigation.
