UDHAMPUR, July 6: In an apparent case of suicide, a youth was found hanging from a tree in forest area of Kulwanta, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramnagar, here today.
According to the reports, Puppu (25), son of Jent, resident of Kaitha, Tehsil Ramnagar, was found hanging from a tree in forest area at Kulwanta under mysterious circumstances.
The body was spotted by some locals who immediately called the Police. On being informed, a team from Police Station Ramnagar reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the post-mortem.
Prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide, however, cause of provocation could not be ascertained. A case has been registered in this connection at Police Station Ramnagar and further investigation is going on.
