UDHAMPUR, Mar 26: In an apparent case of suicide, a youth was found hanging in his house at village Salada Thati, in Udhampur.
According to the reports, Ajay Kumar (19), son of Raj Kumar, resident of Salada Thati, was found hanging in his house, late last night.
On being informed, SHO Rehambal Nishat Sumbria along with his police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the post-mortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while police have initiated inquest proceedings U/S 194 BNSS and further investigation is going on.
