UDHAMPUR, Aug 19: In a tragic incident, a youth drowned in Tawi while crossing the river near Bridge at Chenani in Udhampur District.
The deceased was identified as Anirudh Thangri (21), son of Rattan Lal Thangri of Chenani. The incident took place this morning around 10 am and the dead body could be fished out in the late evening.
Exact cause of drowning could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
