JAMMU, May 30: A youth drowned in river Chenab while taking bath in Aghore area.
As per police sources, a 24-year-old youth identified as Shubam Sharma, son of Ram Lal of Bakshi Nagar was taking bath in river Chenab in Aghore area when he accidentally slipped and drowned into the river.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and made efforts to fish out the body from the river. The body was not fished out from the river Chenab till last reports were compiled.
Gharota Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
