JAMMU, May 27: A 22-year-old youth, who yesterday consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Sohanjana area of city outskirts, died today at Government Medical College and Hospital, here.
The youth identified as Ghara Ram (22) son of Tilak Raj, resident of Sohanjana, was shifted to GMCH, Jammu, yesterday after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance.
However, the youth expired today during treatment. After conducting postmortem, his body was handed over to his legal heirs.
The concerned police had already taken cognizance of the matter.
