JAMMU, May 14: J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) today distributed food packets among the attendants of COVID patients at Government Medical College Jammu.
This initiative has been taken by J&K Youth Congress led by Ricky Dalotra, General Secretary JKPYC on the directions of JKPYC President, Uday Chib.
Speaking on the occasion Dalotra said that keeping in view the deteriorating situation during the second wave of this pandemic there is a dire need for the administration not only to strictly enforce strict restrictions but also to announce additional measures to contain the fast spread of Coronavirus.
The Youth Congress leader said that in view of the third wave approaching near, as claimed by experts, there is a dire need to remain fully prepared in anticipation to deal with the situation besides initiating efforts to avoid the situation from further deterioration.
He also sought special focus of the LG led administration on rural healthcare infrastructure, which he alleged is far from satisfaction, to cater to the needs of population in the respective rural areas.
Ricky appealed to all for following COVID SOPs like maintaining social distancing and wearing masks.
