JAMMU, Sept 9: Gangyal Police arrested a youth for molesting a minor girl.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Gangyal by a person stating therein that a youth identified as Gulshan Kumar (22), son of Mohinder Singh of Bakhar District Rajouri entered into his rented accommodation and molested his 16-year-old daughter.
Acting swiftly over the complaint, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib swung into action and arrested the alleged molester.
A case under FIR Number 106/2022 under sections 452 and 354 IPC and 7/8 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
