JAMMU, June 29: A young woman from the Dhansar area of Reasi district was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her paying guest (PG) accommodation in Gurugram city of Haryana.
As per reports, the deceased, identified as 22-year-old Nikita, was working with a private firm in Gurugram while pursuing a BBA course.
She was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her room at Rao PG in the Gopal Nagar area, Sector 14, on Friday.
The incident came to light when one of her colleagues discovered the body and alerted the police.
Following the report, Gurugram Police shifted the body to a local hospital for post-mortem and informed her family about the incident.
As per reports, Nikita’s sister has raised suspicion over her death and alleged foul play.
She has demanded a thorough investigation and urged police to question her roommates and colleagues to uncover the truth.
Meanwhile, police have initiated inquest proceedings and are probing the matter further.
