UDHAMPUR, Aug 18: A young housewife was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at the house of her in-laws in village Kirmoo in Ramnagar, here today.
Reports said that Shalo Devi (27), wife of Rinku Sharma, resident of Kirmoo, was found hanging from the ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the family members, a police team from Ramnagar Police Station reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the post-mortem.
A case has been registered in this connection for further investigation into the cause of death.
Meanwhile, a missing man was found dead in Paryee nallah in village Kultyar, Panchari area of Udhampur District.
Reports said that the dead body of Sunak Chand (38) son of Janki Dass, resident of village Paryee, was spotted this morning in Paryee nallah in village Kultyar, by some locals, who informed the Police.
SHO Panchari Parshotam Kumar reached the spot with a police team and shifted the body to the mortuary room of PHC Panchari. According to the family members, the deceased was missing since yesterday. Police has initiated inquest proceedings in this connection under 194 BNSS and further investigation is going on.
