JAMMU, July 15: A young man was found hanging today from a tree in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
“Reliable sources informed police station Nagrota that the dead body of a youth namely Asgar Ali (27) son of late Ghulam Hussain, resident of Kunwara, Panjgrien (Nagrota) was hanging from a tree near his residence,” a police official said.
He said that a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. “In this connection, inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC was initiated in police station Nagrota,” the official added.
