JAMMU, June 16: A 24-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his rented accommodation in Bathindi area here today.
Zaheen Ahmed Zakir son of Iftekhar Ahmed Khan of Nakka Majari, Mendhar, at present Bathindi, was spotted in unconscious condition at his rented accommodation in Bathindi by some individuals, who informed the police, a police official said.
Accordingly, he was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, he said.
According to the police official, the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination, while as inquest proceedings have been initiated to ascertain the reasons behind the mysterious death of the young man.
