REASI, Aug 16: In two separate incidents of suicide, a young housewife and a man ended their lives by hanging.
Reports said that Pooja Devi, age around 23 years, wife of Balbir Singh of Patti Kumba, Kanthi tehsil Thuroo, presently putting up at Mandian, Ward number 10, Reasi, was found hanging from a tree near her house.
A relative of the deceased saw her body hanging and informed the police. A Police team shifted the dead body to DH Reasi for post mortem and other legal formalities. A case in this regard has been registered at PS Reasi for further investigation.
Meanwhile, a man was found hanging from ceiling fan at Dharmari today. He was identified as Sunil Kumar (Sonu), son of Dharbari Lal, resident of Nowshera, district Rajouri, presently working at Dharmari as a welder. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertain while Arnas Police has registered the case in this regard and started investigation.
