UDHAMPUR, Nov 29: The dead body of an 11th class student was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook, in a rental room in ward number 7, in Udhampur town here today.
A police official said that Sheetal Kumari (17), daughter of Roshan Lal, a resident of Ghordi was studying in Udhampur town. She was residing in a rented house in Ward number 7.
Today her body was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook in her room here under mysterious circumstances. Locals saw her hanged and informed police. The police examined the spot and shifted the body for postmortem to District Hospital Udhampur. The police registered a case and started investigation.
