JAMMU, Feb 8: A young girl today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, the girl identified as Aisha Bano (19) daughter of Mohd Shafi, a resident of Prem Nagar (Doda) was shifted here at GMCH on February 2 after she suffered burn injuries at her residence due to unknown reasons.
However, the girl succumbed to her injuries today at about 5.45 pm. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting post mortem tomorrow.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
