UDHAMPUR, May 28: In an apparent case of suicide, a young girl was found hanging from an iron angle at her house in village Kirmoo in Ramnagar.
According to the police report, Ashu Devi (22), daughter of Tej Ram, resident of Kirmoo, Nimbla, Ward No. 03, Tehsil Ramnagar, was found hanging from an iron angle at her house, under mysterious circumstances. On being informed by the family members, SHO Ramnagar Purab Singh along with cops and FSL team reached the spot and thoroughly examined the scene. Thereafter, the dead body was shifted to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the post-mortem and other legal formalities.
Ramnagar Police have registered a case in this connection and further investigations are going on to ascertain the exact cause of death.
