UDHAMPUR, Nov 30: A boy was today knocked to death by a truck near Bus Stand at Ramnagar town in Udhampur district.
According to the reports, a motorcyclist named Rinku Sharma (19), son of Ram Lal, resident of Ramnagar brought dead at District Hospital Udhampur due to accident at Ramnagar. His bike was hit by a PHE truck and the boy received serious injuries in the mishap.
He was rushed to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors provided him first-aid and referred him to District Hospital Udhampur in serious condition. He died during treatment in the hospital there. The body was sent for postmortem.
The police after completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to family members. The police registered a case and launched investigation.
