YNC leader urges party workers to prepare for upcoming elections

SRINAGAR, Feb 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Conference (YNC) provincial president and Hazratbal MLA, Salman Ali Sagar today called on the party’s workers to rally together for securing another victory in the upcoming by-election for the Budgam constituency, the Panchayat and Urban Local Body (ULB) elections.
Addressing YNC functionaries from Budgam district, Salman emphasized the importance of thorough preparation and unity in ensuring a win with a larger margin.
“We must be fully prepared and united in our efforts to achieve success in these elections. I am confident in the capabilities of our party members, who are always in touch with the people and ready to meet such challenges,” he said.
He further urged an intensified public outreach program, particularly focusing on engaging with the youth.
Salman also highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir government, led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
“Our manifesto is not just a document, it is a solemn commitment. We are dedicated to honouring every pledge made and though much has been accomplished, more work remains,” he said and added, stressing the importance of continued efforts in overcoming developmental and administrative challenges faced in the past decade.
Earlier, Ahsan Pardesi, MLA from Lal Chowk, held a series of meetings with public and individual delegations at the party headquarters, addressing various concerns brought to his attention.
Pardesi promptly took action by reaching out to the administration to resolve the issues and assured the delegations that further matters would be raised with the relevant ministries.
He also toured key areas such as Shivpora, Batwara, Aramwari, Kursu Raj Bagh and Gandbal.
During the tour, he issued directives for the protection and enhancement of bunds and embankments in these areas, emphasizing the importance of both functionality and aesthetics in infrastructure improvements.
