JAMMU, Apr 25: Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized a workshop on “Unlocking the Power of WordPress” today for 4th and 6th semester students of Computer Science and Engineering Department.
The resource person for the workshop was Balbeer Singh from Techno Solutions along with his team Rishant Kakapuri, WordPress Expert and Bhargav Shridhar, Technical Support. They provided invaluable insights and hands-on training to students on WordPress. The workshop covered the fundamental concepts of WordPress.
WorldPress is a versatile content management system (CMS) primarily used for building and managing websites. While it started as a blogging platform, it has evolved to support various website types, including business websites, online stores, portfolios, and even learning management systems. Its ease of use, extensive customization options through themes and plugins and large community make it a popular choice for both beginners and experienced web developers.
The main aim of the workshop was to empower students with WordPress skills and to equip students with the foundational skills needed to build and manage websites using WordPress.
Prof Mukesh Kumar Rana, Director YCET, Dinesh Gupta, Dean Academics YCET and Chief Coordinator B R Verma also graced the occasion. The technical support coordination for the workshop was provided by Neeraj Kumar.
