JAMMU, Feb 19: Young Blood Organization (YBO) organized a blood donation camp for patients suffering from Thalassemia under the chairmanship of Ashok Verma its chairman.
The YBO has been organizing such camps for Thalassemia patients for many years. Ashok Verma while speaking at the camp appealed the people to come forward in donating blood for such children and provide a lease of life to them. He said there can’t be blood in the blood banks of hospitals if healthy people will not donate it.
He said many times the Thalassemia patients face problems due to shortage of blood in blood banks and hence the organization organizes blood donation camps from time to time.
He said blood donation is a noble work.
