JAMMU, June 25: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) has seriously viewed the harassment meted out to displaced youth through the hands of administration appointed under PM’s employment package in Kashmir Valley.
The president YAIKS R K Bhat alleged that the PM package employees are meeting lot of harassment through the hands of administration who is hell bent in victimizing them by transferring them to far of places and deducting HRA.
He said though the youth took an initiative to serve in Kashmir and bridge the gap between the two communities but some vested interests in the administration and anti social elements are again creating fear psychosis among the Pandits, especially the youth both male and female.
Bhat while criticizing the Government said it is the sole responsibility of the Government to provide fool proof security to the KP youth as it is very difficult for them to live in such an atmosphere where they are being unnecessarily harassed every now and then. There is a circular from the Government that the PM package employees will be absorbed and posted within the radius of five kms of their residence. He termed the irrational posting of female employees totally unjustified.
He said employees are facing many problems in the Valley and their morale is being hit time and again by the false assurances of the Government He said situation is piquant as families are putting up on sharing basis.
Bhat warned that if the situation continues like this the YAIKS will be forced to give a call to the employees asking them to come back to Jammu. He demanded free accommodation for the KP employees serving in Valley.
