RAJOURI, Jan 22: Sleuths of Excise Range Rajouri conducted raids at several places today, destroyed three working stills and seized 120 liters illicit liquor.
The Excise team led by Dr Sajjad Majid under the supervision of Gurmohan Singh, ETO conducted raids at Patta, Pattara, Lam, Jhangar, Kha, Narsingh Pura, Dalhori, Dhani Dhar, Argi, Chingus, Soghat, Potha, Sanchal, Gharat, Brow, Gooni, Garati, Bhagla, Nanyal and some other places in last two days and destroyed nearly 500 kg of Lahan and seized 120 liters of illicit liquor from various places.
The team also arrested three boot-legers under Excise Act. They have been identified as Mangat Ram, son of Deputy Ram, resident of Narian, Ram Singh, son of Lashman Dass, resident of Patta and Hukum Singh, son of Prem Singh, resident of Patta in Nowshera.
