Workers must take party policies to people: Rana

JAMMU, Mar 25: The president of J&K unit of Bahujan Samaj Party, Darshan Rana today said that party workers must take the party policies to the people to strengthen it in the region.
He was speaking in a meeting of the BSP, Jammu Zone held on Wednesday at the party office in Satwari. The meeting focused on discussions regarding strengthening the organization and planning various programs to be organized by the party in the coming days.
Rana stated that a series of meetings are being organized to strengthen the organization at the zonal level and to plan upcoming party programs; but today’s meeting of the Jammu Zone was convened as a result of this ongoing initiative.
Issuing directives for the speedy formation of new district and assembly-level units, Rana urged party workers to constantly reach out to the public and raise awareness about the party’s policies. Rana further noted that there appears to be a strong possibility of early municipal and Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir, and the party has resolved that the BSP will contest these elections with full strength and determination.
Earlier, in the meeting, Zonal In-charge and BSP State vice president Charanjit Chargotra stated that, as part of its membership drive, the BSP is continuously enrolling a growing number of people into the party fold, and this campaign is set to gain further momentum in the days ahead.
BSP State general secretary Raja Singh, along with several other participants, also shared their views and perspectives.
Senior members, Bishan Daas Bhagat, Jagdish Bhagat, Manoj Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Tarsem Lal, and Davinder Kumar—participated in the meeting.
