KISHTWAR, July 31: A worker deployed at Kiru Hydroelectric Project Kishtwar today died of a fall while performing his duty.
Sources informed that Rakash Kumar, son of Janat Ram, resident of Gangna Pullar in Kishtwar was critically injured after he fell and he was rushed to the District Hospital Kishtwar where he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors attending him.
After clearing the legal formalities and after performing autopsy, the dead body was handed over to the relatives of the deceased for last rites.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
