JAMMU, Feb 5: Jammu Kashmir BJP general secretary and Headquarters in charge, Sanjita Dogra today emphasized that women and youth should actively opt for skill development to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to society and the nation. She said that in the present era, skill development has emerged as a powerful tool for economic empowerment and sustainable livelihood.
Sanjita Dogra expressed these views while interacting with Rajesh Kumar, Director and Founder of Ayaan Edu Skills and Training Pvt. Ltd. and Aydemy Foundation. During the interaction, discussions were held on expanding opportunities for youth and women through professional skill training programmes and vocational education initiatives.
Sanjita Dogra said that skill development in the present era is essential to equip individuals with practical knowledge and capabilities that can open doors to employment and entrepreneurship. She stressed that women and youth, especially in Jammu Kashmir, should come forward to take advantage of various skill development initiatives being offered by Government and private institutions.
She further said that women empowerment is closely linked with economic independence. “When women acquire professional skills and become financially independent, they not only strengthen their own position but also contribute significantly to the progress of their families and society,” she said.
Rajesh Kumar, while sharing his views, briefed about the initiatives taken by his organizations in the field of skill training and capacity building. He said that their aim is to create opportunities for youth and women to gain industry-relevant skills and improve their employability.
BJP secretary Reema Padha, former DDC Neeru Rajput and social activist Anita Gupta were also present on the occasion.
