JAMMU, Mar 12: Women workers of National Conference (NC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bimla Luthra at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan here today.
While speaking, Luthra informed the workers about the developmental system and the policies and programmes of the Government. She said that in view of the topography of the State, special thrust has been given to far-flung areas for carrying out developmental activities.
“I am trying my best to improve the life style of rural women folk, so that they come out from poverty”, she asserted.
She asked the gathering to vote for National Conference in the forthcoming Parliamentary elections in the State.
Among others present were Veena Oberoi, Raj, Rano, Bharti, Anju Grover, etc.
