Women of Ward 9 discuss problems with Sat Sharma

JAMMU, Mar 17: Various burning issues concerning the people of Ward.No. 9 of Jammu West Assembly Constituency, were taken up by the local women with BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma  who called on him at Party Headquarters here today.
Led by Sangita Dogra, these women raised the issue of a park in their area, which needs facelift and renovation.
Most of them also expressed their concern about the movement of stray dogs, adding that it becomes risky to come out of houses in the early morning and late evening hours and the most scared are women and school going children. They also highlighted the need to repair lanes and drains adding that any work to be undertaken from now onwards should be of good quality so that it serves the people for long.
Sat Sharma, while interacting with these women, said these problems will be looked into and every effort will be made to solve them. He later, took up issue with the JMC and other departments, and urged the concerned officials to visit the spot and immediately undertake the works.
BJP State Office secretary Sanjay Baru, State spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, MLA Samba Dr. Davinder Manyal and Jammu West district President Ayodhya Gupta were also present on  the occasion. Prominent among the women who called on the MLA included Kamini Gupta, Radha Gupta, Jyoti Bhat, Asha Gupta, Kamla, Aarti Gupta, Kamlesh Gupta and Jyoti Gupta.
