Women bootleggers held with illicit liquor

JAMMU, Sept 5: Keeping a vigil over sale of illicit liquor on the auspicious day of Janamashtami, Narwal police arrested two women bootlegger and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Narwal police post conducted raid in Rajiv Nagar area and arrested two women bootleggers along with 150 pouches of illicit liquor.
The women bootleggers have been identified as Khemo, wife of Sudesh and Sonia alias Chemo, wife of Joginder of Rajiv Nagar.
A case under FIR Number 216/15 under section 48-A Excise Act and 188 RPC has been registered at Bahu Fort police station and investigation started.
Police team led by In-charge police post Narwal PSI Vishal Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Naveen Angral, SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, SP South Uday Bhaskar Billa and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
