REASI, May 11: The dead body of a young woman was found hanging at village Kanota, in Panassa area of Thakrakote tehsil of district Reasi today.
The deceased was identified as Razia Begum (21), wife of Showkat Ali of Kanota ( Panassa). She had come to her parents’ house a few days ago. Razia’s body was found hanging in the house of her father. They immediately informed Arnas Police about the matter. The police examined the spot and then shifted the body for postmortem to Arnas Hospital.
The police registered a case under section 174 CrPC and started investigation into the matter. The body was later handed over to the legal heirs after postmortem.
