SRINAGAR, Mar 21: One woman died after succumbing to burn injuries here at Pantha Chowk.
A police spokesman said that one lady namely Baranti Jena, wife of Ct. S.K Jena of 4th BN BSF attached with BSF officers mess at BSF Camp Pantha Chowk, Srinagar, residing in Government Quarter No. 64 at BSF Camp Pantha Chowk, Srinagar, sustained serious burn injuries while she was pouring oil into her Kerosene Heater.
The injured was shifted to 92 base hospital for treatment, where she succumbed her injuries. Police inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard.
